Neighbors and kids smashing pumpkins for community composting
This fall, give your pumpkin a second life.

Coming this November

Done decorating?
Let’s compost it.

Community Composting will accept uncarved pumpkins for composting November 1–13 at Campground (208 Sea Cliff Avenue).

Drop-off is in the two unused parking spaces to the left of the main entrance—look for the sign. You can bring pumpkins anytime; Campground’s coffee service runs daily 8am–4pm if you want to grab a coffee or latte while you’re there.

No carved pumpkins, and no paint, glitter, or stickers. We’re aiming to wrap drop-off by November 13 (it may extend a week after Thanksgiving if needed).

About Community Composting

A little less waste.
A little more possibility.

Community Composting is a local effort to create a village-wide composting option in Sea Cliff.

Composting turns organic materials into a useful soil amendment. We want to make it easier for neighbors to take part, starting with opportunities like this fall’s pumpkin collection.

Help shape what comes next.
